Our story
The story of Fontecabras water goes hand in hand with Jaraba story. Jaraba is a village close Zaragoza (Spain) located in Mesa river valley, whose spring’s waters have mineral properties.

Roman period

Over many years Jaraba’s springs were known with this name given by the romans. They experiences the benefits of this warm waters and became famous the village and the springs.
Year 800

Documents relate the use of these hot springs by the pilgrims in time of the Reconquest. They devoted themselves to the shrine of the Virgin of Jaraba and seeking the sanatoria benefits of its waters preserved.

The publication «Mineral Waters of Spain «published by the IGME , was the first official reference that recognize the medicinal mineral character and public use of the thermal waters of Jaraba.

From 1997 until today Fontecabras spring waters have been exploited by the company Manantiales del Piedra S.A. a dynamic development enterprise that introduces in 2014 an actual new visual imagine for Fontecabras brand
